Sting Coed 10/21- Forfeit |

10/21- The snow in Denver was cold, Sting's attendance was colder. We had to forfeit our second game as we did not have any girls show up. We forfeit and then played even up with one girl and 5 guys. We ended up "winning" the Friendly 8-1. We played All Holes and a Pole. This team has one guy, get it? Love their choices for team names, one was 5 Chicks and a Stick.. Hilarious. Do not let the make up of their team fool you, these women can play. Friendly, so stakes just not there. We played hard enough for many to score, even Ron Melendy. If Chris Toney can score 2, anyone can, even Ron Melendy. Amanda will hopefully continue to play with us, she was our lone girl and a very solid player. Scott Warburton and Brendan played hard, sorry, without help I only know I scored 2 and Ron scored at least one, if I had help I would bring the tally's up and names added for accuracy. Amanda played well, we controlled the game, and of course Sam Pizarro had at least 3-5 brilliant saves. |

Atlanta, GA - March 2nd, 2008: Sting Black lost this past Sunday 2-1 to PCheen (what does that name mean anyhow?) on their tiny field somewhere near Alabama. It was an excellent game, even though we lost. PCheen had a full squad and conducted shooting drills prior to the game. I guess they were trying to psyche us out. |

Sting Black Defeats Majestic Red 4-Nil |

Atlanta, GA - February 24, 2008: Excellent win against a very physical Majestics team - Liga and Enrique can attest to that. Game balls Enrique and Mark. Game started dicey, with the large bald dude trying to push people around up front, and the smaller bald dude passing the ball around for Majestics. |

Minneapolis, MN - November 20, 2007: Sting Red played a much more solid opponent last night against Junior Varsity in what ended up being a 6-6 tie. Still without a full roster, but with a few more players than the week before, momentum went back and forth between the teams throughout the entire game. |
